Why this matters more for neurodivergent people
A tool built for neurodivergent life ends up close to the most personal parts of a person: how they focus, what overwhelms them, when they struggle. That kind of information has been used against neurodivergent people for a long time, in workplaces, in schools, in insurance. So we treat it the way we would want ours treated: collected minimally, never monetised, never used to profile, and always yours to take away.
How we think about AI ethics
- ASTI supports; it does not diagnose, treat or judge. It is not a medical device.
- No dark patterns: no streaks, no guilt mechanics, no engagement traps. An Emergency Stop pauses everything.
- Plain English over legalese, and honest status over hype: ASTI is in development and we say so everywhere.
- We are working towards the regulatory and safety standards appropriate for this kind of technology before release, not after.
